Bio
Antonios Makris is currently a Senior Researcher at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, under the supervision of Professor Konstantinos Tserpes. He received his BSc in Computer Science in 2013 and his MSc in Web Engineering in 2015, both from Harokopio University of Athens. In 2022, he completed his PhD in the field of Distributed Systems at the same department.
He is a member of the Efficient Computing Lab, focusing on Efficient Computing and Data Analytics. His primary research interests include Distributed Computing, Edge and Cloud Computing, Machine and Deep Learning, AI Robustness, Efficient Computing, Big Data Management and Analysis, as well as Spatiotemporal and Trajectory Analysis.Antonios has been actively involved in numerous EU-funded and national research projects.
