Georgios Kotzias

Georgios Kotzias received his M.Sc. from School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), where he specialized in algorithm development, optimization, and scalable software solutions. His master’s thesis focused on “Explainability of machine learning models in biomedical engineering: application to detection of adrenal pseudo-incidentalomas,” where he evaluated multiple ML algorithms for medical diagnosis classification and implemented model interpretability techniques. His main research interests include efficient execution of artificial intelligence algorithms, distributed inference and machine learning optimization. He participated in the D4SG project, where he helped in the development of MarinerMuse - an intelligent pricing and scheduling management application for the Corinth Canal that optimizes maritime activities through genetic algorithm approaches.
